    hmmmm....

Hmmm... I think me going to start blogging seriously... Okay, been taking a hiatus... but I think some thoughts just needed to be expressed... sigh... sigh... I do not think I'm ready for the community or a role model especially when I don't me as one myself...  Hahah... I'm on the roll.... And right now, hmmm... what I'm so gonna do with myself... as in my life...

    It's February!!!

Hmmmm... it's February already! Hahah... Traditionally, I would put this up earlier last month, ie- Wish List 08... But the truth is I have no idea what's going to be on that list... I mean, I've been quite contented with what I have right now and with free time (aka not working hours) on my side, I've been shopping. Well, not anymore, considering I've gotten what I've wanted. I have not even been on a shopping spree on January's pay... Maybe a little more memory for my lappie, Fountain of Wayne's Fountain of Wayne CD... I've been on a book spree right now which is fast reaching a plateau simply because I didn't see any that I fancy. I actually combed the whole of Border's fiction section at Parkway Parade shelves by shelves armed with a 40% discount voucher. Yesh, 40% till 10 Feb... I currently have a super favourite book, well apart from the Harry Potter series... entitled 'My Best Friend's Girl', it's funny, celebrating friendship at its best and quite an emotional read. If you are the kind who cries in the movie, this book is gonna make you weep. Almost regret reading it on the train back.

Hahah... I actually wanted to blog my prefect week earlier... nothing really exciting happened except I was super high from experiment going well (those R&D folks would sympathize with me the number of breakthrough you actually get in a lifetime), finally getting Dorothy Koomson's My Best Friend's Girl ( I tell you- it was like love at first sight. Saw the book at MPH while waiting for a meeting, and since reading the sypnosis then, I couldn't get the book out my head and when I finally bought the book, I love the book thoroughly). Simply, I was just high...

Currently waiting to go to chalet, something weird is going on... Sigh... even when we are adult, we are still kids in their eyes... Oh well, have got to see how the family drama unfolds, don't ask me anything... I volunteered to do publicity for SRC stuff at SP. Talking about SP, does anyone knows how much an R&D chemist earns after a yeat's experience. I am extremely comfortable with my current allowances, so yes on allowances right now...  Technically, only getting my first Salary this april... There's a HR interview coming soon... I'm curious to know how much I get to take home, yup it's permanent position... Hahaha....Hope that will be a great birthday pressie... If I ever get that wish list up, I'll put it up soon...

    The Wisdom of Meredith Grey...

"There comes a point in your life, when you're officially an adult. Suddenly, you're old enough to vote, drink and engage in other adult activities. Suddenly, people expect you to be responsible, serious, a grown-up. We get taller, we get older. But do we ever really grow up? In some ways we grow up; we have families?we get married, divorced? but for the most part we still have the same problems that we did when we were fifteen. No matter how much we grow taller, grow older, we are still forever stumbling?forever wondering, forever?young."

Here's another one of my current favourite of mine... Well, Mr Ben Lee's "What would Jay-z do?' took the other spot...

Hmmmm.... So I have not been updating... In short,

-Joined SHE quiz and won $20 voucher
    -Spent my entire robinson vouchers
-Initiate a community project due to go live in Dec
-PRESENTED the project in front of audience with almost all the m-p-s that needed to be there...and I din screw it up... Hahah... remember that symposium.... So proud of myself, especially when I got praised for a spontaneous and exciting presentation... lalala... Super duper... You know how I am with speeches and podium things... *I was freaking out in my lab the day before*
-Got a bronze award from red cross...
    -Did something nice...

So right now, I feel rather a little fulfilled and have some direction n meaning too... Been itching to do things... cant sit sit... So come next year, an online database, 2 forums, a few workshops and sharing sessions coming my way... Feel good already... and yes some picture personality kinda guess mine... Quite a lot of truth... My temperament is definitely flexible... Currently addicted to Sodoku and Scrabbulous on facebook... Need to start reading stuff globalisation and some geopolitical things, oh yes some social framework too...

    Temperament
    Flexible
Nothing seems to bother you - you sail through life crisis free. It's not that your life doesn't have its ups and downs, it's just that you handle everything without unnecessary drama and antics. You approach each day fresh, not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. You are confident that you can handle anything that comes your way and experience has shown that you are absolutely right about this.
    Interests
    Thrill Seeker
You are interested in anything that is exciting and pleasurable. You're not afraid to indulge yourself - you live by your own set of rules and don't allow yourself to get hung on what others think. For the most part, you are independent and do whatever you please to do. Trying to stop you from doing something only makes you want it even more. At the end of the day - you live for life's most thrilling moments.
    Amusement
    Adventurous
It's a good thing that you are filled with energy and ambitions (that others sometimes find exhausting) because you're continually looking for a new adventure and exciting experience. You struggle with a continual feeling of restlessness which constantly pushes you to the next level of excitement. Once you have accomplished one thing, you are eager to accomplish something more exciting, riskier and distinguishable.
    Passion
    Physical
You are a cuddle bug - from a warm hug shared with your best friend to steamy sex with your partner, you enjoy every bit of human contact that you can get. You demonstrate your love for others most fluidly through physical one-on-one contact and you feel the most loved when you are being touched. You feel disconnected when you are physically isolated from others. You're a people person and a lover of all things human.

  • Oh GREAT... I solemnly swear that I am up to NO good...

I solemnly swear that I am up to NO good...

Talking about addiction, since that seems to be the thing for me now...In no particular order... the top ten (to give you guys an idea what the heck I'm been doing)
    1. Latest: Facebook... No thanks and loads of thanks to everyone who invited me...
    2. Harry Potter, I added: What am I supposed to be waiting for after the 7th book is done...
    3. Erm, fanfiction to pacify the depletion of pages to read from
    4. Yahoo! Answers... I'm at level 2 to satisfy inane questions on Chemistry and Harry Potter, giving 62% best answers...
    5. Listening to either 'cheerfully pyschotic' songs, UK alternative/indies or foreign-I-cant-understand-the-lyrics-kinds or Hari Raya Songs (it's the season)
    6. Photoshopping, think I'll buy myself a book!
    7. Waiting for the next Harry Potter movie and praying hard that the current director don't screw up the next one. Well, the 5th was just an OK...*shrug*
    8. Recording shows on my little MP5 Player
    9. Shopping on Aunctions- happily outbidding other folks...
    10. Thinking how much I miss studying and exams, not that I'm complaining about about work... But I think I just like studying for something.. Darn, sounds a like geek to me...
